If KOC was to tap you on the shoulder and ask you what kind of "everyday" ornament you would you like to see next year, one that you and your family would enjoy and one that you would display all year long (that wasn't holiday related), what would that ornament be?

Personally, I hate packing up the magic 2014/2015 Happiness Makes Magic ornament every year after Christmas. Everyone, including me, who passes that ornament (which I display on a table so it is readily available to all fingers), has to play it and watch the snowflake spinner and listen to the cool music it plays. So, I would love to see a similar magic ornament that could sit on a table but be ornament sized, that wasn't holiday or disney related (2017 Elsa's Magic Snowflake), that you could display all year long, that looked similar to that 2014/2015 ornament but with a different everyday themed spinner/design and a unique catchy musical sound. Something the young and old would all enjoy, all year long. Plus, it has to take regular AA/AAA batteries and not the tiny button batteries. :-).

Curious, what would your everyday ornament suggestion be that everyone, young and old, could enjoy all year long?

Well I do keep some out all year, but those are Star Trek and Star Wars related. Normally that year's Star Wars Magic ornament. As for Star Trek I have four captains (the 1995 Captain Kirk, Picard, Janeway and Archer) sitting on a shelf. The only reason I don't have the Sisko out is because he's freestanding without a base and isn't as stable. On the same self is the transporter ornament, plus the 1996 Spock and 1997 Dr. McCoy.
On a desk I have the pewter NX-01 Enterprise and the non-gold 50th Anniversary "Convention" NCC-1701 Enterprise.

I keep Barbies, Nostalgic houses , and Wizard of OZ ornaments out Year round.

I found a little display stand and I'm working on putting out the miniature beauty of birds and miniature butterflies on it.

I used to keep the classic cars and trucks out all year in a curio, but I have since pack them up and use them ion my main tree rotation.

I get where your coming from. Something with a dome so I don't have to worry about dusting the tiny crevices and pieces getting broken off. I think something animal related. Like birds chirping and flapping wings while sitting on a branch. Maybe kids swinging on a tire swing. Maybe cats and dogs playing in a yard or perhaps the dog chasing the cat up the tree.

I'm there with you about AA/AAA batteries or I'm ok with a cord also.

Hallmark pay attention!!! Great minds are at work here. Don't let us down now.
