I would consider Chucky a Halloween ornament.

I normally only look at this forum on the weekend, but last week I was too busy, and I missed out on all this news. Thanks for posting. Just some quick observations, most on the pop culture ornaments - Luke and Yoda Training, it looks like the same ornament from 2015. I guess the sound is different? A miniature Voyager, one was also made in 2001. The Wizard of Oz, the "I'm Melting" it's different, but also somewhat redundant and in my opinion done better in 2024.
I get it that these could be for younger, newer collectors, or for those who missed out, but ...
I do like the Club Exclusive Vintage Skiing Snowman . I think it's rather cute.

Some misc. thoughts on the Dreambook from me
I LOVE how this year's book looks with it's aesthetic! It's finally looking good and festive again!, anyway...
-Why is the new Elfville series $36?!? Like yikes. -LOVE the NPTT one this year. Cute as a button is cute too. I don't collect this series but might get this one. -As someone who enjoys to snowboard, this year's snowtop lodge has to be one of my new favorites in the series. -SANDal the SANDman is eating a SANDwich. Good one! -This year's Christmas Commemorative is too similar to 2016, I'll probably skip this one. -King of Hearts is my new favorite Noble Nutcracker! -I wish the sweet snowboy and snowgirl weren't porcelain - they look super cute but I feel like they look plastic. -OUTSTANDING selection of magic ornaments this year IMO - the ones from that page on my list are And To All a Good Night, Holly Jolly Santa, Jolly Jukebox, Here Comes Santa Claus, Nellco Ice Cream Maker, and my favorite ornament of the year: Keepsake Village. -HORRIBLE selection of humor ornaments this year. Who thought that last one was a good idea??? -I'm going to use the new Heirloom Angels ornament for St. Patrick's Day. -The Tiki Snowman is adorable. -The book shelf tree is an unexpected favorite of mine this year. I love it a lot! -Love the mini porcelain and 14K gold tree, and A World Within is a must-have as it features Mrs. Claus! -Find it so weird that they reissued the Mickey Mouse Club ornament from TWENTY years ago. -As someone who missed out on the original version, Kermit is my second favorite of the year. Can't wait to see him. -Totally getting Darkwing Duck. -Didn't care at all for the flying ace Snoopy ornament... until I read what song it played! -They did Garfield DIRTY... once they made the Garfield Itty Bitty, I KNEW there'd be an ornament, and I was excited about it... until it was shown and it's the most lame thing they could've done... -The Power Cord house being Barbie is hilarious! -So happy they did an Adam's Family one, with the theme song nonetheless! -SNL one looks intriguing technology wise. -Lacey Chabert???... yeah, that's just stupid. -Was hoping they'd downsize the Star Wars collection but NOPE! -LOVE the Harry Potter Mirror of Erised inside the book. -The XBOX 360 is a must-have, I have one from long ago. -So many weird reissues this year. Like, why reissue This is Halloween? Glad they got rid of something from it though to keep the value of the original in tact.
and that's all for now!

Smallest list so far.
But some high-priced ones on my list.

I wonder if the Elfville series' price is because it is essentially a regular size ornament an a mini ornament? Just a thought. Haven't looked too closely at it, so I don't know if I'm way off base or not.

Haven't looked too closely at it, so I don't know if I'm way off base or not. I break the $35 price tag down by $25 for the house and $10 for the mini. I was very much looking forward to this new series after the Dream Box last year. The picture of the 2025 piece is underwhelming. It needs more color and impact for the price. Hopefully it looks better in person. If not, hopefully future pieces are better.

I think the price is a bit high for the Elfville ornament. $26 sounds better.

As I find looking at the PDF of the Dreambook to be a bit cumbersome, I didn't really analysis the pages in great detail, but I'm probably way off base here, but I'll just through this out there on the pricing some have been mentioning.
Do we know where the ornaments are made? I assume somewhere in Asia. I would then think the ornaments would be shipped across the Pacific to a West Coast port. Maybe as there is only so much room on the West coast some or all are shipped to eastern ports. I just heard the other day that some pricing on various items has gone up as some shipping companies are still avoiding the Suez Channel.

95% of the ornaments are from Sri Lanka. Which is just about exactly half way around the world.

I wonder how the tariffs will affect the price? I have ordered just 5. They are just too expensive. With tax it will be close to $100.

I think it was mentioned that the 2025 ornaments are already in the US, so no price effect from the current tariffs.
And I would expect the whole tariff issues will be gone by Christmas, as there probably will be zero tariffs by then.

I still don't have my Dreambook since I'm not a club member. Probably next week since I'm out of town this weekend and won't be back before my store closes.
