Hope everyone has a great Halloween.

We haven't had many trick or treaters since Covid.

This year we have 5 houses decorated for Halloween. The most in a LONG time!!! I guess I better go get some candy!!!! HA HA.

Lets see who gets the most this year!

Happy Halloween!

Had a handful of trick or treaters here so far. Probably won't get too much many more.

We had about 20. All the little kids came early and the teens right at the end.

A record year here for me - 26 trick or treaters - I know that's not a lot for many me, but for me -wow! Though I saw something new this year. Two sets of kids not walking but being driven. I noticed the car in front of the neighbor's house, saw a bunch of kids get in, then the car moved the 75 to 100 feet in front my house, the kids got out came to the door, the kids got back into the car and repeated to the next neighbor's house. Later the same happened with one girl.

This girl was very different, inside of saying, "Trick or treat" she said "Happy Halloween, I hope you're having a great day." I would say she was eighth-years-old.

Our Trick or Treating is always on the 30th due to our parade on the 31st in Toms River.

We had about 150, Went through 10 bags of candy.

150 WOW!!!! I think you are the winner for the most KIDS!!!

We had the same thing with a car driving down the road following a group of three kids. We had 5 houses decorated. They walked to each one then got back in the car and drove to the next street.

About 8 years ago we had a kid that arrived in a Taxi !!. I wondered if the parents were working and ordered the taxi or if it was the parents driving the taxi as they were working!!! I had never seen that before.

We live on a cul-de-sac that only has 7 houses. We were the only house decorated for Halloween. Most of the other houses kept all of their exterior lights off even though they normally have exterior lights on through the night. Halloween Grumps. frown

We had 51 Trick-or-Treaters this year.

I think kids from neighboring towns get dropped off since our trick or treat is a day earlier.

I plan for 175. We had around 150. Seems this has been a trend so I could probably stop planning for 175. Though we did have a recent year where we ran out. I guess I will stick with the 175 just in case.

Always be prepared. I ran out. I switched over to Rice Krispy Treats.
