Unfortunately I will not be attending any of the Ed Seale's signings due to none being held in my area. I was wondering if anyone attending one of his events would be willing to purchase 1 Bearing Brunch Event Piece for me. This piece is Very Cute and I would hate to miss out on it! Thanks in advance Cheryl

The only problem with that is that I think that you are limited to one piece. Mary

I'm not sure where Sierra Madre, CA is, but we are having an Ed Seale event in Sacramento on September 28th. Is that anywhere close to you? Our local club, Sacramento Valley Ornament Collectors, is sponsoring an evening event the night before with hors'd'oveures and meet and greet for Ed. The event itself is at Mary's Hallmark in Sacramento on Saturday, with Ed signing from 11-3. They are limiting the piece to one per family, and one extra piece signed until everyone has had theirs signed. Ed has said he will stay longer if more people want more signed, but only after the first group. Private email me if you need more info.

I was at the Ed Seale Signing that was in my area during the Premiere. I bought THREE and Ed signed them all. I bought one for myself, one for a friend. I picked up the third one for another friend, but that person decided not to buy it. I ended up using it as a trade for some ornaments I REALLY wanted.
I am sure that if it is not crowded, they will make exceptions. I was fortunate enough to have friends (a couple) who were going to the signing last November in Illinois. No one was in line and Ed signed everything we brought, plus his "A Mice Touch".
At the July Signing, I was told he would sign only one item, but when I went to Ed, he signed them all and the three older ornaments Ed designed that the Store was selling. There was no one in line at the time and a few people came AFTER Ed signed mine, so no one was waiting.
Ed is a VERY nice person to talk to and VERY considerate.

I think it's safe to say that Ed's goal with his signings is to give everyone a fair chance at both purchasing a Signing piece and getting his signature.
This is why many stores will only allow you to purchase one piece in the morning, but allow you to purchase more in the afternoon, if they are still available.

I'm looking for "Bearing Brunch" also, so if anyone gets an extra and wants to sell it, please let me know. I am unable to make any of the signings.

Celly Celly, you can view it as edsealedesigns.com. It doesn't have anything to do with Hallmark as this is Ed Seale's post-retirement work so it isn't in the dreambook. Jodee - do you know how much the piece is going to be sold for at Mary's Hallmark? ------------------ Life is a journey - don't drop anchor and settle.

That is good news that if we stick around we can buy another one. So I will try to get another one if I can get it.
Last year Ed Seale must have signed at least 50 ornaments for me but I did it right. I just kept getting back in line. I had to make 3 trips home for more ornaments. He was joking about it and told me that I needed a pickup so I could just back up to the back door and unload my ornaments. Mary

The Bearing Brunch piece is selling for $35.00 with a $15.00 purchase (purchase with purchase requirement). That is just for the event at Mary's Hallmark in Sacramento. I don't know if it's the same price on the edsealedesigns.com website.

I don't know if it's the same price on the edsealedesigns.com website. Just wanted to quickly clarify so there isn't any confusion... Bearing Brunch is Ed's signing piece, available at his signings, not through his website. Bear Watching, though, is available through the website and I'm glad to read that many are now arriving! Thank you to those of you who have posted about receiving it, I will be passing along your nice notes to Ed, I know he will appreciate it! Tim EdSealeDesigns.com

Jodee - thanks for the info on the cost of the signing piece. Now that I'm facing almost $600 in car repair bills, I'm not going to buy Bearing Brunch as planned after all so if anyone would like me to pick it up for them, send me an email. Also let me know what you'd like your $15 purchase with purchase requirement to be. While it's almost inconceivable that I'd go into a Hallmark store and not buy anything, I'm going to have to exercise some financial restraint for now, especially if I want to buy anything at Oct debut (still debating). This whole being-a-responsible-adult thing kinda sucks sometimes . ------------------ Life is a journey - don't drop anchor and settle.
