The answers were as follows.
Alabama was the first state to recognize Christmas. In 1870 President Grant declared Christmas as a national holiday.
The Yule Log show began in 1966 on New York's WPIX tv station. The original program was a gift to those residents of New York who lived in apartments and homes without a fireplace. This also provided time for the employees of the tv station to stay home with their families.
The first artificial tree was made of dyed goose feathers in the early 1800's.
White Christmas is the best selling song of all time. Selling over 50 million copies.
The first postage stamp was released in 1962, which had a wreath on it, cost 4 cents.
