I researched the best Christmas lights as I’ve been trying to make my house look more festive this year but didn’t want to deal with lights that burn out or tangle easily. i have been experiencing constant frustration every December because half my old lights stop working as soon as I pull them out of the box. i went through reviews from trusted sources like Wirecutter, Good Housekeeping, and The Spruce and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices:

POOFZY Permanent Outdoor Lights for House,200ft RGB+IC Smart Outdoor Decor, 50 Scene Modes,App/Remote Control,IP67 Waterproof,for Christmas,Halloween,Daily & Holiday Party Decor,House Roof Lighting

https://www.amazon.com/POOFZY-Perma...&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2, 100ft RGBIC Outdoor Lights with 72 LED Lights, IP67 Waterproof, 100 Scene Modes with 40lm White for Outdoor Decorations, Works with Alexa, Google Assistant, White

https://www.amazon.com/Govee-Perman...&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

however, i am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and i would love to get your expert advice and hoping maybe some decorators or people who put up outdoor displays on this forum can also share their advice.
i usually prefer lights that are bright but not too harsh and something that won’t die out after one season, so which one would be more recommended for me? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

We put up an elaborate outdoor Christmas display every year. All of the lights, blow molds, and inflatables are controlled by computer. We custom make all kinds a displays with PVC pipe.

As far as lights, we switched entirely to LED's several years ago to save power (so we can put up more lights smile ). This year our outdoor display includes several thousand lights. We put up multiple Christmas trees inside and use a couple thousand lights on them.

We buy the cheapest light strings that we can find (Lowes, Home Depot , Walmart). This year we bought about 10 more 100 light strings for about $4.00 per set. We have some LED light strings that are 10 years old and still working fine.
