I really like these two ornaments and I wish they weren't minis.
I don't collect minis so I wish they had been done in the regular line; I know a lot of people like minis so those of you who collect minis are lucky with this year's offerings.
Very cute.

I got the third and final in the Festive Santa last year for my foodie tree but forgot it was a mini. I can't even see it on the tree so was a little disappointed. Wish it had been a little bigger. Oh well...it is still cute.

Marie, you could try hanging some minis together to give them more prominence. The gumdrops especially I think would look cute strung together. For your Festive Santa - think about a cookie or candy frame or wreath he could dangle inside. Maybe something like 1989 Sweet Memories Photo holder, although instead of a picture of Santa, the little ornament could hang in it. (Although you'd have to check to make sure it doesn't have a back on it. I don't recall offhand if it does.) http://www.hookedonhallmark.com/1989-Sweet-Memories-_p_1936.html

The gumdrop minis are absolutely adorable! I've got all of them and love them. Cutest minis in ages.
They're good fillers for spaces in trees/wreaths, can be attached to stockings as charms with a needle and thread, can have their own mini tree, some people turn them into earrings or other jewelry, lots of possibilities.
If it helps, I've heard the "proper" way to decorate a tree is to put the biggest ornaments on the bottom and smallest on the top. For your food tree, try putting just minis on the top branches. Apparently, it gives the illusion of a taller tree, that's why it's the "proper" thing to do.
I love the Yuletide Rider too since I have a soft spot for stick horses. I'm probably going to watch it and see how well it does or doesn't do before I buy it. If it doesn't sell well, I'll wait until after Christmas.

I like minis and have several trees just full of only minis. However, some snowmen, girly and food minis are on my big theme trees. I love to hang them out on the end of branches on the upper third of the tree. They give a dimension to the tree and are very noticeable when others view the tree.
