1990 Sweetheart,QX4893, Painted Prototype.
This is one of two known to exist.
It looks just like the ornament, just a shade shorter.
Not sure of the material, it's not plastic, and doesn't
have the trademark on it. Price is $99 including shipping.

Shanna, Depending on what is in your Mother's collection it might be worth your time to check the going prices on either http://www.hookedonhallmark.com or buy Todd's software. She might have had some very valuable ornaments in that span of years especially early series like Frosty Friends, Rocking Horse, Here Comes Santa and Nostalgic Houses & Shops. I'm sure your Mother loved her collection since she collected them for 25 years and she would hate to see her years of collecting not benefit her family whether it be adding to the grandchildren's college fund or a big vacation or whatever . . . just thought I'd mention and share that some particular ornaments may be worth hundreds of dollars each. Maybe you could even save a dozen or so that you might especially like or that you know were her favorites to decorate a 24" or 30" wreath for over the fireplace mantle or somewhere. Good Luck on selling the ornaments~!

I dont know what I'm doing so here it goes..... My mother had (in original factory to store boxes) 40 Yesteryears santas dated 1976. These ornaments are still in the boxes and never been opened. They still have pricetags, golden ribbon around box and look like they just came off the shelf in 1976 (minus some dust). She also had about 9 Twirl-Abouts Angels in same condition from 1976. Also were 9 English Village 1988 Miniature collection houses that are mint in box-
MY QUESTION???? HOW THE HECK DO I GET RID OF ALL THESE THINGS AND GET THE MOST OUT OF THEM. EBAY IS TOO MUCH OF A PAIN FOR ME TO MESS WITH>
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

c_beshorern, I would suggest becoming acquainted a bit with a price value guide with regard to what you have. You may be surprised and find that you have several hundred dollars worth of stuff there; so please don't make a hasty sale for too cheap. I realize Ebay is a pain sometimes, but with all those dupes (actually many more than dupes), you've only listed 3 different ornaments and would only have 3 sales to write up, you can sell a quantity at a time, or each time you sell one, just have ebay repeat the same ad for another round. I just don't want to see you "taken" or have you undercut yourself by selling them all quickly to the first offer. I dont know what I'm doing so here it goes.....
