Thanks Luckdragon and KCC for pointing out the Louie Lightly. Sadly, my work blocks the Kodak gallery websites so i can't look at the albums!! can anyone send me the files as jpgs or copied in word to my email? Let me know xoxo
Considering the new editions of some characters etc., hallmark may be taking note of us "expert" requests...beast and captain hook appeared this year which were 2 requests by several of us....
On that note, please hallmark...MARY POPPINS and CHIP N DALE? :p

Mary Poppins is on broadway now, and I think it would be neat to have a Disney Broadway series:
#1-Beauty and the Beast #2-The Lion King #3-Aida #4-Tarzan #5-Mary Poppins #6-The Little Mermaid
Did I miss any of the Disney broadway shows? I've only seen Beauty & the Beast, and it is excellent. Particularly the stein dance.
Thank you Marc for the information! I'm pleasantly surprised the Mickey house is cheaper than I thought...I just have so many ornaments that play "Deck the Halls." But, it is my favorite non-religious Christmas song...
And again, I'll join in and request Chip and Dale. Try talking Disney into it, Hallmark. The Disney Store doesn't make ornaments for them. And I've only found 1 Chip and Dale ornament, and it came from Walt Disney World in 2005. When I went in 2006, they didn't have any, so they don't make any for the parks either. Would also love a Tarzan ornament (never seen one in Disney Store or in the park).

I have one ball ornament that was a Disneyland cast member exclusive - I want a figural ornament! Preferably from the holiday special where they drive Pluto nuts in the Christmas tree, one pretends to be a candle... Mary Poppins would be excellent to tie in with the new Broadway show.

That sounds adorable! How can you read all that information Marc? I have X-ray vision. LOL
No seriously I keep blowing up the original pictures and playing with the brightness to clear up the print, then I strain my eyes until I make as much out as I can. Thank you for all the time you spend doing that!

This is the one I have from WDW from 2005: Their heads are on springs and bobble. Disneyland most likely had this same ornament, and maybe they still have some. I'd love one from that cartoon! That is probably one of my favorite Disney cartoon shorts.

Cute orn. I don't go very often, but whenever I do I always check out the shops for Christmas ornaments and haven't seen Chip and Dale. There are usually tons of the Princesses and of course, Mickey, Fab 5, and whatever the latest movie is.

It looks like "Aunt Angel" to me.
You mean, Diana that there isn't a huge section of Stitch ornaments from "Lilo and Stitch?" The last two times I went to Walt Disney World, the larger Christmas store had a huge section of Christmas products for Stitch. For those that lament Hallmark only making 1 Stitch ornament, go to Walt Disney World, and you'll be so tired of seeing blue Stitch Christmas stuff, you won't care. Hallmark's ornament for Stitch is still the cutest because I've never seen an Elvis Stitch besides that one. That movie was so adorable...I should watch it again...

I hope it is an Aunt ornament! Will tell my niece she will have to buy that one for me from her and her son!

Cute ornament. I was in Downtown Disney last August and was disappointed in what they had. Most were tooooooo big for my taste.
I bought the neatest Jimney Cricket in a bell ornament a while back. I think it was in 1995 because I asked my friend to see if they had any when her family moved there in 1997. They did not.
Even the Tinker Bell ornaments did not look right to me. My friend sent me two Tinker Bells that they stopped making. Both were bells. Tinker Bell's body was the handle, and her skirt part of the dress was the bell. One red, the other green. Too gorgeous to pass up.
Tinker Bell has to look a certain way before I buy her.

Add me to the list wanting Chip and Dale. I was going to say add me to the list too but then I realised we weren't talking about the same thing. Your wanting a Chip & Dale on your tree and me wanting a Chipendale under my tree were two different things. Marie

Thank you Marc for posting all the pictures and straining your eyes to help us out with the words and workings of each ornament. Bye the way Marc, each time I see your avitar I have to admire the detail and the amount of work you and your brother put into it. I wish I could have seen it in person. Great job. I can only imagine how much work it was. I like to do outdoor Halloween things and I admit that no matter how long I work on them they aren't in the same class as your creation. I was thinking how much work it would be to create this years orn (plane) and it reminds me of those shows on the food network where they are always making cake and sugar sculptures. Whew! They did a Disney character cake making contest the other day and it would sure be cool to see them do HM ornaments. It is so nice to be able to get an idea of how much I need to start putting away to afford my ornaments. The more time I have to look at them and decide what I really want the better. Took another look at the pics and had some thoughts:1)Govoni, I have to agree with you about the "Ringing in the Season" Santa and the "Twinkle Claus" ornaments (cover of book). They have the cheap look of Avon or Dollar Store ornaments. I don't like them at all. 2)I don't collect Precious Moments but the Cinderella ornament is so sweet. 3)I loved the IC Pops (Penguins) ornament when I first saw it and I didn't even realise it did anything. Now that I know it pulls apart the frozen treat, it is even better. 4)The more I see the Canada Santa, the more I like it. I just took another look at it and I like the criss-cross detail on the bottom of his birch bark coat. It reminded me of when I used to watch my grandfather make his wood-frame snowshoes when I was a kid and he used hide ties to criss-cross the webbing of the snowshoes. 5)I am glad Louie D Lightly is the reg line orn for the Snowtop Lodge series and not Stanley T. Star. I find Stanley kind of boring, he needs more color on him. I am not a collector who buys every orn because it is part of a series whether I like it or not but I still would rather not break up a series if I can help it. 6)Disappointed in Father Christmas. Have to agree with other Yuleloggers on this one. I had to pass on the Father Christmas reg line orn last year because I found the dark green too dark for the tree. Loved the red colorway though. I will pass on this years ornament. I don't like the direction this series is going. I started this series because I like traditional & "old style" ornaments and don't like the red suit of Santa. 7)The elephants and monkeys doing things with the babies are cute. I must be pretty thick in the head because I don't get what they have to do with Christmas; but then I felt the same way about the carousel animals too so what do I know? 8)Also agree about the Gingerbread Lane series ornament being boring and blah compared to the Peanuts Snoopy house even though I will probably get both.I did like the cinnamon hearts on the roof of the series orn. 9)Even though I began to give away the Christmas Windows series (find them boring) I do like the details on the 2008 one and the companion piece. The companion piece may also appeal to people who collect the NH&S series. How nice to see one of your collections on an ornament. 10)Does the character in the "Final Confrontation" (Star Wars) have Donald Trump hair or what? It looks so wierd to me. 11)I really like the "All is Calm" ornament and will buy it but it would have been nice to see it as a clip-on orn. I guess it would have been to heavy for the branches though. 12)I really like the Fisher Price barn. I only collect a few series, kitchen & traditional orns but if I still collected these kinds of orns I would definitely have to buy this one. It is so cute. Now that I am a "minimalist" when it comes to collecting and only buy what I want enough to replace something in my existing collection, I have to stick to my series, kitchen orns, etc. I will have to go to one of the links and listen to the hippo song. I think I have heard it before but I won't be sure until I listen to it. My grandfather used to sing "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth" all the time. I'm not even sure where he heard that song because he didn't watch tv or listen to the radio. That makes me feel old. Marie
